I believe you would still hear it do to the fact that you are injecting the nitrous in the system. It will cause the car to idle up. Just like starting fluid or any other highly flammable spray. At least that has been my experience with it. What do I know I'm just a kid?

i get what you are saying, but nitrous is not flammable...

You are absolutely right...when I was refering to the compound I should have used its proper name. Nitrous Oxide (N20). The oxygen in the compound is what causes the increase in power out put. The Nitrogen is there for a bonding/cooling agent. I apologize.

I understand what your saying but if you do as you are saying (burnout) you would be at the top of your RPM and you would run the risk of over revving the engine or running to lean. Or you are saying tapping the button while rising to the top of your RPM range but the problem would exist of a sudden and audible jump in rev speed. This would give you away.

I also understand your theory on the roll racing situation. This would probably go off with out a problem to most people but if the person you are racing could still hear the audible tone of your car he would still hear the rev speed change.

Just my 2 cents.

love the "specifics unknown" lol..its just a civic with some ac, 1.6l sohc grocery getter with traction and a gas hand thats off....i like how the race started "pillion whats up man i got the gto" "jimmy sweet ive got this little civic..just a civic with ac and stuff you know...well hell no point in stading around talking lets race and gets in the car. LMAO!

The way I see it we only had one good run.. I was out of gas the first time, you won,my fault for beingunprepared , I outrun you the second time and the third you missed a gear and slung the belt... we had fun, nothing was humiliating and we shook hands when we left... I respect you and your car... thanks for a real race...
