Guess what guys... Got my tranny prob fixed thanks to a guy sponsored by saenz gears. He got a new sponsor so he is passing it on to me... Im too happy as im getting a saenz straight cutt gear set two final drives and three sets of carbon syncros all for 1500 bucks and anything I beak is replaced for free so this means youll be seeing me alot more at the track putting down alot more power.

naw, we just know that it takes much less skill to drive in a straight line, than to actually brake, shift, AND turn

I've driven at Lowes MotorSpeedway, the nascar cars, and drag'd out in Ohio and in SC with cars that push between 500-800whp. I've been behind "real power" and it's been anywhere from AWD, FWD, to RWD "real power".

Its just not my thing to only drive straight line. I think it's best to enjoy power, and skill. Some guys get it, others drive straight line.

500-800 is not "real power" and ive done the whole autocross thing before and yea if you were even acutally on a real track with other cars it would be a blast, and takes a good drive to compete, but going through cones in a parking lot is not skill or talent.

I road race, and autox for fun. Yes, it's easy to place in the SCCA in autocross, but road racing and track events such as out at CMP, RA, Little Tally, Buttonwillow, and places like that are where it's at for me. Anytime someone just does something once, and realizes it's "not for" them, they should really try it under different circumstances. While autocrossing may not be fun in a civic like yours, it's a blast in a turbo'd miata. Drag racing may not be fun in a 400whp civic, but it sure is hell fun in a 800whp TT Z06.

Different strokes for different folks. But IMO, driving straight takes less skill than road racing. It takes a different type of talent, and a different set of balls to go over 200mph within less than 10secs, but it's ONLY for less than 10sec's. There is much more focus needed for road racing, enduro's, auto-x'ing, and other types of racing that involve balancing a car with power/weight/cornering capability.

if cars were only meant to go straight, the steering wheel would be locked in place.

i guess thats why you see so many road coarse racing on tv? im not saying its easy but its deff not hard and neither is drag racing. so dont act like you got some bad ass road racing car and your some pro drive bc you dont and your not.... i would be willing to putt money that i can drive your car and be within 1 sec of your times. if you want to put this to the test ill drive your car at a roadcoarse then let you try to drive mine at a dragstip but untill you do this you really dont know..
it does not take talent or skill to take a dd car and go down the track just like it dont take talent or skill to put it on a road coarse by yourself and make a few laps

normally i wouldn't argue with anyone on this subject bc it all a matter of opinion, but what gets me is the fact that you think your some pro road racer but in all reality you have a stock civic with a turbo kit and some coilovers.... you dont have shit to talk shit with or back it up. Only ppl around here with hondas that have anything is the guy with the delsol and prather's rsx. I like road coarse racing and if i wanted to do it i could but if i wanted to talk skill and setting up a car to hook and go it would be dirt track racing...

like I said, I wasn't talkin shit, I was stating my opinion and FACTS. I NEVER said that I was a pro racer, even though I did have to start racing pro in the SCCA SM class 4 years ago. I haven't raced competitively since 2009 due to scheduling at my last duty station and this one, but next year I will probably be competing again (bar'd that my first born child is healthy come Dec 23rd.).

Bottom line, I defended drag racers by clearly stating "dont knock em". I understand if your undies got tight and you missed that comment.

and no, you couldn't nor would you ever be able to keep up with me in my car on a road course. but I wouldn't ever make that statement about keeping up with you in your car for one simple reason. I respect that it's YOUR CAR and you should be good with YOUR OWN CAR. Now, if you can show me some type of HPDE cert's, or instructor badges, by all means, show me how to drive it. Til then, keep your key's in your pocket bc there is not way in HELL i'm lettin ya drive mine lol.

lol how is your car not stock? is it sleeved? does it have rods pistons, or head work? if not its stock with a turbo kit.... and i would love to show you how to drive your own car if you ever raced pro prove it bc i call bullsiht bc from me hearing and seeing you talk about your car and other cars you dont know anytihng about racing... taking a stock car that you drive every day and putting it in on a track and all of a sudden your a race car driver and you got a race car is just funny to me. Fact is you and your car is slow so stop acting like your somebody bc your not.

you dont see me on here making build videos and posting threads on me building my car then talk about ive raced it here and there... if you were somebody you would have a track car with sponsors and a crew to help and you dont so let some of that air out of your big fuckin head bc your no better than the rest of us

ive learned two things by reading

A- true power has to be at least 100000hp

B- your not cool unless you have a track car that is 100000hp, so many sponsors that you have to buy fender flares to put stickers on, and a pit crew that can fix the car you just blew up at the track with an engine that you will blow up again.

Come on Richie, you know the deal.....we all have a pit crew and money to waste like that.....the evo was built and all but I never said I can beat this person and that person, lol, but it could have ran a 10, then got on them curvy tracks too, lol...since it's gone I can beat you all!!! Lemme get my beat to shit hatch and run you all.....BACKWARDS!!!

In the immortal words of the prophet Rodney King "Can't we all just get along?"
According to Taketomi, true VIP style tuning is limited to only 10 Nissan and Toyota models: Nissan President, Cima, Gloria, Cedric and Fuga; Toyota Celsior, Century, Aristo, Crown and Majesta.

My transmission is modified, and it's cammed with lower compression pistons. Haven't seen me on here for a while? That's why. Been working on it for next season.

According to you, less than 800whp, which is real power to me, is not to you. By that, YOUR CAR HAS NO REAL POWER!

I made a build video two years ago kid, is changed since then.

Has your car made it off the dyno yet or are your Pep Boys parts still breaking? Lsat of remember, you were supposed to come to showdown but couldn't due to a malfunction right? Since I've been assigned here, I remember once how your car was fast and I've given you props on that many times.

I've never came on here bashing anyone, nor their cars .

Facts are facts, which you are trying to ignore. More skill is needed to road race than drag race, but like I said, true drag racing isn't my style, my car was built to corner.

Your car was built to run good twice, break, sit in the garage for months, run again, break again, and cost thousands in repairs.

Simply put, you and I want trip different things. I wanted a car that I could DD and track. You wanted a car that sounds great in a garage, needs a trailer to get where your going, and then you HOPE it runs well.

GROUP HUG? Just because you have a build video doesn't mean anything or that your car is as you claim setup for road. Who doesn't have a modified trans? funniest thing about this whole thing is your one of those people that always thinks there gonna get the last word or try to down people by calling them kid your cool now. To each his own you both have your opinion and that's not gonna change. go back to your little hole

Maybe you didn't see the posts about me looking for sponsors for the Bull Run 2011. Yes I aspire to be better than what I am today because I'm always looking for the next way into real, professional racing. But out starts with actually racing in NASA, SCCA, and other circuits, participating in track days, attending schools and such.

I have no problem admitting that my car is slowER than, yours our anyone elses, provided their car made our safely of the dyno. but my car isn't made for drag.

Your car is slow as fuck in the turns on an autocross our road course.

    You built yours for drag.

But then again, according to you nobody has any real power in columbus ga, unless theres a 800whp+ beast that of haven't heard of which is possible.

With all of us lower class, daily drive, slow poke citizens on the road and on the forum, why don't you go talk to the more WORTHY cars?

Fyi, has anyone seen the flat black z with rotora brakes?

bro, i never once said I try to get the last word or down people. he's younger than me, ergo, a young person. that's normally associated with being a "kid" and when you can't talk grown up, that's what I would refer to anyone as.

and by modified transmission, I meant that I have an albins 1-4th, and final drive. hell, I haven't even brought up my build video lol. he did.
