ok, so since jon has been gone, i have worked on more cars in the last week than i have in my whole life...radiator replaces, suspension replacement, tires installed, one car i don't know whats wrong with bc i havent had a change to look at it yet...
the latest: mario was driving his teg from work around 4pm, though he slung a rod, cut off his car and coasted from manchester to airport( interstate)....i get there, ac tensioner broke and was being tossed around. chipped the tensior and crankshaft pully. i replaced the belts with hope it would start but nothing.....
got it to a safe place where i can work on it some more, and decided to check the timing bc i recently worked on a green teg with jon that had a similar problem. guess what!!!! timing was off by 3 teeth...jeeze called the tow truck and took it to my house where i could do some more work.
worked on it at my house around 12am, took the crankshaft pully off and all i can say is wow. . the ac and alternator belt got caught up in the crankshaft pully, rubbed through the lower timing belt cover, and got under the timing belt where the oil pump sprocket was. day keeps getting better and better.
reset everything, my bro got home around 245am and was helping(greatly appreciated!) set timing, and prayed...cranked the car but guess freaking what....bent valves.....we therefore called it a night.
mario since 11am this morning from hearing the news has found a replacement head for me to swap for him..who knows when it will be done and let pray that the p30 pistons arent screwed up....

It's not too bad actually. Right now I'm attending tech school at Sheppard AFB in Texas. I kinda miss my car. I should be back there in August. I'm actually planning on buying another car sometime soon. Maybe a CRX or a 240 or something.

i know it was tunned on 8 psi and got 390..the rumor that no one knows is the guy who jacob traded with a few months ago claims it made 500 on 20psi.
none the less jacob doesn't own it anymore, and the guy who does own it swares the tranny didnt go out, its just the half shaft.....we shall see
with 9:1 compression on a 81mm bore he would need at least a 3567r, sc6262 or hell maybe even a gigantic S366 to make sub 400whp on 8lbs and when i looked under that hood at the zoo city car show he had a baby turbo and didnt have the supporting mods. Right now I'm in the 360th Squadron, some of the newest dorms on base. I'm a crew chief (HUUAAAHH!!!!) for the B-52. There's lots of cars here but not really much to do.

Globemasters are a nice plane to jump out of from what I'm told. They're nice to work on as well, instead of having the "integrated" concept from the 50s and 60s era - they use the more modern "modular" technology from the late 80s when the Raptor was designed.
