you took off, so i took a moment to down shift from 5th gear and get on it in the middle of 4th. immediately our acceleration was even, and when i hit 5th at 120, i started reeling you in (oh and 5th is an overdrive gear for me too). and you were on it still when i hit 5th, i heard your 4.5inch can buzzing still.

....and you should have heard it buzzing because I didn't hit 5th yet, was almost there though, think I still had about 2k left to go in 4th, and yes 5th usually is overdrive on a 5 speed. Congratulations. You guys are funny, that is why I frequent this thread. Thanks for the amusement.

Well I dont even street race anymore but theres a few times when I get an itch. But I know what hes saying. He doesnt wake up saying "Im going to get me a kill story or drive around looking for a race. i want to race so I can come in here and tell evryone that I drove around all Friday and Saturday lookin someone to beat." I can vouch for Brucie. Lol. I have never heard him say his car was fast or talk shit about anyones else really. When he's sayin he doesn't really race I believe he's talkin about setting up a race. It's different when you jus pull up next to someone at a light or on the highway and have a little fun.

yeah alright, i'll be around. and i was around a few years ago when subarus and evos were more popular. trey's red evo9 stomped anything from a dig back then, i can only think of a couple of times anyone really contended with him. and his was stock turbo with a protune and bolt-ons. it doesn't matter if we're talking about back in the day or today, you cant keep up with anyone with your D13 83 horsepower motor chump

Thats definetly not a true statement.. I could have owned a Supra/Cobra or somewhere in the range of 20-30k.. But I chose to build my civic and say hey I have a 11 sec sohc civic at the time and it cost maybe a 1/4 of what it would take to build ether a cobra/supra/evo. I did it beacause i wanted something different. And I put money away into savings and other stuff. I have respect for Muscle, I have to its in my family. My dad has a street legal chevy monza that does 8.98 in the 1/4mile.And he daily drives a honda with NOS! Im getting off subject here. Im just saying. As far as real cars anything tht is title/tagged is a real car in real terms. As far as being NUmber 1 in Columbus with the fastest whatever.. You can have it. I rather sit here and say I spent 500 dollars on a 91 shell civc, and put 5k into and had an 11 sec SOHC car/that was street legal and getting 30 miles to the gallon. I see that more surprising/awarding then saying I bought a Cobra/EVo/new GTR skyline for 20k or more and put 5k/10k into and I can beat anything and only get 15 miles to the gallon. Sure its nice to have, but I just see it as eyecandy!


Side note: when things happen to Civics its like hundred here or there not. thousands like these car that we have mentioned.

The car has run 10's and 11's, when I had it on meth. Will it now I don't know, I doubt it, meth has since been removed/disconnected for reasons that it cost me a little more money than I cared to spend on my budget. LOL. My sig was funny, so I put it on there. I used to race alot, but grew outta that phase, that was an old sig of mine I wanted to resurrect. So, I did. I have 2 wreckless driving tickets and a failure to yield ticket on my driving record. Globemasters are a nice plane to jump out of from what I'm told. They're nice to work on as well, instead of having the "integrated" concept from the 50s and 60s era - they use the more modern "modular" technology from the late 80s when the Raptor was designed.

I was at Barksdale from 96-98, lol. Yeah showing my age a little, but it was all good. Downtown Shreveport is okay, they have casino's on the river and a few alright clubs. Plus you'll be just 2 hours from Dallas. You'll be alright man.

we cool evo dude .. i am the same way about racing now ... it better be worth it because the new laws aint playing no games ... i havnt raced on the street this year but maybe a hand full of times and it wont be no jumping on the main road and running or racing somebody i have never even talked to .....we going out a few exits checking for cops no traffic after 12 or later . taking a exit and if its clear then doin a race on the way back.
i have been taking my car to the track beating some gas money just to make it fun and see what it will do .. hell u cant beat 20 bucks to run and not having to worry about if the cops going to give me 1000 dollar fine or taking my car..
