yea that's what he was saying, he just wanted another project car. We talked a bit about his car and the direction he wants to go with it. Nice guy. Depending on the price, it may get picked up and stay local, but I'll have to paint it a new color lol.
they seem more of a street slick. how many lbs are you pushin if you don't mind saying? and controller? that's crazy that you have that much whp and are not using BBG on a car so light. I'm sure you've gone thru a few axles lol.

I appreciate all cars stock or modified, whether they are tastefully modified or not doesn't matter as long as I don't have to drive it, and I don't knock people down, nor will I expect to be knocked or provoked. lol and thats almost mid 500's on PUMP GAS and wastegate set at 13lbs wait till 30ish lbs on race gas and possibly a 100 shot :) 235/60/15 Mickey thompson et streets will dead hook on a 550hp car from a 2nd gear roll rode in greg's 560hp d series in montgomery to witness it. And the hoosiers grab harder!

Them axles are rated for 1200 there not breaking the trans will go before them
I meant the stock axles. I'm sure when he started the build if he didn't replace them first, they snapped hard and he had to upgrade, but I didn't know if he upgraded them first or not. Some people just add power power power, and then they learn the suspension lesson the hard way after the fact. I know I did.

I believe he's on kpro. And I'm at 450 whp at 12psi and it's no fun on streets. I'm waiting my axles to come in before I try anything to fancy, I had such violen wheel hop it loosened my upper control arm nut and suspension was crazy rough until I figured it out. That shit would have been bad. I gotta a long trip to Texas coming up so I'm just taking it easy. It's my daily. Hoping to pick this 4 door up so I can park this one.
Put a traction bar and suspension on it and wheel hop will be gone

It's a k20z1 with a fullrace kit. Turbos just about maxed out and fuel. Sc61 turbo. All the internals have is head studs and low comp cosmetic head gasket. :)..... And I have yet to find a traction bar setup for my car. (EP)
I could make 500 with bigger inj. A 6262 turbo. And I also need a fuel return system of some sort. These don't have one so 4-500 is usually the max for these till you get one made. I'm happy with what I got. Lol, just one more tune to tweak it and I'm good. :) appreciate the offer though.
sounds like a lotta work to be done for a DD. have you tried motor mounts and an Engine Torque Dampner?
the FR kits are amazing. I assume your running on the Walbro 255 FP? I forget the name of the company that most of us z3 owners used but I'll find it. and yea, the 450-500 mark is about as high as we can get on a returnless setup. I like how your FMIC is hidden from view, so is mine.
what size injectors are you running? I have a friend selling his RC 650's. I'm on the ID1000's and I think they are great. kinda pricey (bout $500 shipped), but you'll have plenty of fuel up top.
It's an amazing daily but if I want to have fun it gets a little violent at high rpms, but it's almost all squared away. I'm runnin RC 750s. The car has an awesome power band. And very quiet.
I have inserts, and I do have the trq dampner.
i think ill just stay NA, i think its cheaper. lol.....
and ep3 justin runs kpro- idk what numbers he made though
