lol...kswap parts and jswap parts are so friggn expensive. a set of axels cost almost as much as a complete LS swap.

Well Kentrel said the j swap wasn't pullin hard on him and all k swap cars alot faster than him. And i know the specs but that don't make car fast. Thats the reason we have a h2b
we kinda ran today, was quick but i thought it would be faster honestly, we were even then almost rear ended some kia's and hyundai's lol. its faster im sure, but the j and k swaps are fairly close to swap in pricewise depending on the j or k swap you purchase, there are tons of options. nevertheless i like to keep my engine under the hood on my daily lol :goodjob:
I drive the K's and J's on a daily. If you put a J in a new Si it would absolutely butt fuck the K.
Paul can attest to this even tho he's doesn't drive Si's.
Yeah, Im just saying stock for stock. You can mod anything to be fast. The J series engines are not completely engineered for all out performance (like other honda motors ie c32a) as they are single cams. Power comes from displacement.
K series or b series for that matter have more racing technologies engineered to them.
It sticks outta the hood, and stuff. But it different which makes it cool. Just like a K swap

LOL, someone said a 260hp civic wasn't fast? I doubt that it is slow. Alot of time, you get a boosted b16 @ 7psi and put down somewhere in that ballpark (260-290hp). I know it's not an S-Dbl 1,000hp drag/jet car (just playing Sean, needed some relation). Just saying, it probably cost some change to do and there most likely are cheaper ways, but 260hp is not bad. I know it probably won't get much more than that but that's not bad for a dd (not a "race car"), IMHO......
K Series swaps are not that common, I have yet to see more than I can count on one hand (even my hand) in Columbus. I am sure they're all over ATL, but we are in Ol' C-Town come on.....
I am thinking if I had the money I'd get a boosted b18c5 swap for the Evo, LOL....but I will just have to settle for what I have I suppose. Although if someone had a nice b16, ZC, LS or GSR swap for the low I could use it for the Si that'd be nice....
