The 1988 Toyota Supra, 7MGTE. He bought two of the same cars for 1500$ One just a shell, and one with a blown motor. Got an extra motor with the deal also. Put the two motors together, upgraded the internals to handle more boost, though those motors were pretty much bullet proof anyways. Put together both shells, painted the car himself, and all body work himself. Installed engine himself. Put the wheels on. I think total cost was somewhere around 3000$. Running 450 horses at full boost to the wheels (i think 18lbs). Runs about 8-10lbs around town at 300 to the wheels. All of this done at the age of 17![/QUOTE]

It does weight 500 lbs more than 240 sx but thats 2 more cylinders + drive shaft + independent rear suspension + LSD = boatload of HP. You tube will prove their way faster then 14 secs. come'on

Preach on Brotha!!! His car is pretty quick on just 8lbs of boost also. We had it at New England Dragway doing just under 14s with 8lbs! Spinning tires through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Can only imagine how fast it would be on full boost and sticky tires! While on youtube also search for World's Fastest IS300. SRT 2JZ, Turbo is bigger than yo head! Preach on!! Supra FTW baby!

We are not here to impress ANYONE! We don't have a car club to IMPRESS YOU PEOPLE (or anyone for that matter)! If you think that is why you are part of a car club than that is probably why your NOT in one! Because its people like you who think that no matter who is in the club, your car is too good for it! And, its people like you who give most car clubs BAD reputations. We started as three people who love what they drive NO MATTER WHAT IT IS! We put our name out there and people wanted in. Then it grew and grew. We were friends, but now have become family. It gives all of us something to talk about, and gives us something to do together as a club. Whether it be having BBQ's, parties, car shows, celebrating birthdays, or just get together to enjoy life! In the two years we have kept this club together, we have seen mulitple car clubs fold because of that exact attitude. They go to shows expecting trophies. They go to shows just to make fun of what everyone else has brought! N.E.X.T. is not like that! There is NO pressure, we don't make you feel like your not GOOD ENOUGH for the club! So, if you roll a stock vehicle so be it! If your rolling a multi-million dollar investment so be it! Your welcome NO MATTER what you drive! We strive to keep racing off of the streets and back on the track where it belongs!
