    Spent today smoking my tailights and i dont think they look to bad for me doing them myself.. tell me what yall think?

    I think they look like you did a good job on them, but they seem a bit too dark for my tastes. What kind of spray did you use to smoke them?

    actually i used niteshades.. alot of people dont like to use that but i figured out my own way of doing it and it turned out really well... you just cant follow the instructions on the can at all..

    I would've just done the bottom half and not as dark.

    i am not going to et pulled over i have two other visible brake lights plus you can see through them perfectly..

    Alot of times the issue is a visable reflector.

    Wax your car man. Tinted taillights normally look good but on your car they're darker than the faded black paint.

    also might want to try wet sanding a bit and clearing it a little. every time someone tints their lights it always looks rough.

    hmm...to each his own.

    put about 5 coats of clear on each taillight. when it dries wetsand them until they are both smooth, ull see what im talkin about. then buff them out and they will have a nice shine to them and if u keep them waxed they will look very good. my b/f did this to his Z, it took him a few times to figure out the exact way to do it but it came out awesome
