my dad almost bought that for my mom, but a manual one which is rare.. instead he bought a 3.0 quattro A6.. quattro>continuous variable transmission

you do know that quatro has nothing to do with the transmission?

ya but you do know that the CVT tranny is not compatible with the quattro, so its either QUATTRO or CVT

that is correct.

also the 3.0 is still a great car/engine. prolly more reliable. I will only chip this car for now... go from 250hp/258tq to 325hp/385tq, lolz pretty damn good gain for 500 bucks.... hence the reason I got the 2.7t

i tried everything to get my dad to get the 2.7T... the 3.0 quattro is slower than the 3.0 CVT but i would still pick the quattro.. because it handles amazing and the diffrence in speed arent that big. and im glad you got a 2.7t, and not any other engine.. best A6 engine for sure imo

i would pick a 2.7T manual over a S6 tiptronic, the manual 2.7T is 0-60 in 6.0 seconds.. and 1/4 mile of 14.7. before chip
