You obviously have never driven a Mustang setup for road racing, and have never driven a 20B powered car.

Since I have done both, you might want to reconsider your statement.

BTW - I do like the LS1 motor, just would rather have it in a Vette (I like Vettes), and a rotary in the FC.

I have driven many mustangs and frequent SVTPerfomance almost more than any other site. And they will tell you as well, the Mustang chassis is not even near as good as an RX7 for road racing. Never driven a 20B, never will, don't want to. Sure they have great potential, assuming you have $10k and know how to make your own tools/spare parts.

The stang would have better off with a 4.6 4v and a Kenne Bell or Helion Turbo kit.

Stock for stock the FD is a better chassis; however, it is quite easy and cheap to setup a Mustang for road racing. It really comes down to the driver, the car setup is minimal until you reach higher levels of racing.

20Bs are no more difficult to work with than LS1s. Both are excellent motors, bit h have their own quirks. For me, it's 6 of 1, half dozen of the other. I just would prefer to have the LS1 in a Vette chassis - Vettes are excellent chassises also.
