Notice I did not say it is "my" S2000... However the owner I built it for likes it. Most parts came from ebay including the car. Body kit was used and she got it for a penny. Veilside is not my fav kit but it was cheap and it looks better than I thought it would. Besides the stock nose was junk. The wheels were cheap as well to replace nasty stock wheels. If she wanted to drop an sh*t load of cash I'm guessing I would not have had to volunteer my time to rebuild the car.

Too bad the carbon hood weighs more than the stock alunminum one. Other than that, I don't like what she did to it.

I'm not feeling the body kit or the rims either.

Opinions are like assholes... I'm sure you all know the rest of the saying. We always take into consideration who says neg shit and what that person is driving. If you drive a ragged out 90's Civic and you dislike something we understand why you say what you do. If you drive a show quality car then you opinion may be considered. Those that still drive mom's Le Sabre, you know who you are, are welcome to comment as well but you know where your comments go.

If the hood weight is different it's maybe ounces different. Who the hell cares about weight of the hood??? I lifted both stock and carbon hoods. In my opionion the carbon was lighter. So close it didn't matter. In the end the carbon was cheaper than OEM. And Aluminum? I seriously doubt it. I'll check with a magnet for those of you pondering the truth. My R33 had aluminum hood and fenders and they felt a lot different than the OEM S2K hood.

The used nose was cheaper than OEM bumper.

    Anyone see a pattern here?

The front was crunched when it was purchased on ebay.

The sideskirts... Yeah I didn't like them when they arrived. I had the body shop throw them on anyway and it does look better in person. Really, I didn't believe it 'til I saw it. Stock is boring. Stock is for mom and pop's Le Sabre. The wide fender portion on the rear helps keep the wheels from looking too wide.

The wheels are not my fav either. But for the price... 1/2 of what anything else would cost and they beat stock wheels (really). It had the '02 stock wheels on it when it was picked up from the paint shop... Nasty. But if anyone is just totally in love with stock S2K wheels come get 'em for cheap cheap cheap...

End cost of the project is less than half of what a new S2K sells for. And with the car being paid for and only having 28K miles...it's better than a new car.

I guess I'll keep my 240 pics to myself... Who knows what kind of shit ass remarks I'll get for having a 350Z orange 240

Nice S2000. I really like the kit and the crome looks good against that color. Tell the lady not to listen to anyone that talks bad about her car because its hers and that the way she wants it. I think it looks great.

people like you i just dont understand, you post up pics for peoples opinions then when people say they dont like it, you get all mad and try to justify why you have your parts on the car.

your reasoning on price doesnt make sense either, i mean what if i needed new washer nozzles so i went to pepboys and got the light up ones cause they are cheaper than oem? its still rice

so if your gonna say that only car show peoples opinions count then go to some rice fest, maybe youll get some love there

Miata's and most Land Rover's are the same way. The only way you'll get them much lighter is a real thin carbon fiber skin with virtually no support....strictly for racing.
