Mazdaspeed3.. it outdid the wrx on the track... and it scored better overall .. the only category the wrx won in was the 0-60... but the ms3 is a really quick car.
Thats why im considering it because i also heard it was qiuicker plus for $22,000 you get hids bose stereo and all dat fancy shit i wont use lolOriginally Posted by JITB

yea they are cheap, but u should look into the mazdaspeed6's also they are even cheaper.. they go for 20k all day long. Since they are about to change the body style, they are tyrin to get rid of them. hell of a deal.. on both. a few ppl have test drove the Ms3's and said they are really really quick.. it even outperforms the MS6 as well, i think mazda shot themselves in the foot maybe..lol

MS3 will own it. From a dig WRX will take the MS3, but by 3rd gear MS3 will have WRX, but all comes down to driver.
I'm slightly biased but go for the WRX!!!

WRX. It wont take much in terms of modding for it to take the 3. Plus the WRX already has a pronounced aftermarket, as the 3 will take a year or so to have parts that dont cost an arm and leg to upgrade with.
Get an 04/05, or maybe the 06s with higher displacement.
I plan on keeping my Wagon forever, and in the next year or so picking up an STI.
Lets have that precious Mazda3 run a simple Stage 2 WRX and see where it stands

can the stage 2 wrx keep up with a 06/07 wrx with the ej25?
Ive beaten a stock 06/07 with no problem, and had room to push more.

WRX. I suggest just saving up more money for the STi, though. You'll be much, much happier in the end. Brembo brakes, nice 6 disk changer, nice interior, gauge cluster, indestructable transmission and stronger engine.

the mzr motor has been out for about a year, with the MS6.. there is plenty of aftermarket for it already. lightwqeight forged wheels - supsension upgrades, already available.. for the ms3 from mazda..Give it a year or so, im sure theyll be common.
Of course Mazdaspeed and Mazda Motorsports has aftermarket parts available.

motor trend also said that the only car that will give the ms3 comp in the future will be the caliber srt4 as far as power wise. I think tho i would get the MS6, its cheaper and AWD.. unless u go to japan and get the awd ms3...lol

It just depends what you're looking for. If you get the ms3 and mod it, we'll just have another high powered tractionless Fwd car on the road. At least with the suby, you'll have some room. I'd wait and see how well the Ms3's sell and what people think of them. The first year production cars always have some minor shit that goes wrong w/ them.

Oh yeah why does everyone always reply to wrx by saying oh get an sti. It's not that easy STI's are a lot more expensive. It's like saying "hey guys I want a fiat", "no dude get a ferarri"
