yeah they extended the trunk and did the custom headlights on what started as i believe a 91 300ZX, you can tell they put a lot of work into that car...its a shame it just went to waste, i think a fiero based kit car would have been cheaper, turned more heads and would have come out better but i guess each shop has to put their own little twist on everything...

Plus is not his car.. he got payed to do that.

but still, in my opinion, custom work is nothing without good styling and a good design...no doubt the work was nice but the style was in my opinion lacking...

and a kit car on a fiero is at least designed after a particular style...but even then implying that it is a real ferrari is still kinda wack in my book. and go look at any REAL ferrari and you won't see a huge ferrari sticker on the front bumper, i think if they were going for a ferrari look they should have gone for a regualr ferrari look, i think the car may have looked ok without the sticker collection and whale tail. also a fiero is at least mid engine...what were the side vents for on the door of the 300???

no no, i understand what your saying...I'm not raging on what was done, b/c uab does do quality paint (i love their mini cooper), but don't put a freaking ferrari sticker on it and claim it to be a ferrari, it's like putting a type-r sticker on a mustand (real tacky), I mean do you see real ferrari's w/ ferrari stickers on them? or lambo's w/ lambo stickers on them? if it's real people will know..

IMO more respect would be given to what was done if it didn't have a ferrari sticker on it.

I totally agree with you. But it's like that at every car show. And guys galk all over the place so I guess it IS in. Dangit. Guess I getter go throw up.....

Don't take offense to that because I don't know you. I am saying 60% of the models at the show as a whole. There was alot of models there who I could say, "ok, she's repping for the ladies", but there was even more where I was like "Damn they need to eat!!!!!!!!!!! or Damn, the crack got them thinking they look cute!!!" I watch America's Top Model when my mom is watching and I say the same thing about the skin and bones. No muscle or meat, just BONES.

I thought I told you?! well they were moving the car to the main stage area and my car was in the pathway where the cars can go from one end of the room to the others. There was a pallet on the other side of the pathway, which prob shouldnt have been left like that! and they were going around the pallet rather than the car and pushed their front into the right rear of the car. Car wasnt hurt bad just some scratches about the size of a golf ball, Dan was extremely nice and offered to pay for the car to have it repainted but I told him i didnt want to deal with that (didnt tell him that the entire car had to be repainted and couldnt be blended) I told him not to worry about it. He gave me his car after i told him i was looking into a turbo...told me to call him when i was ready to get it.
