My new Mk3 Jetta

Bought myself a nice new car. Its a 2.0, but I don't mind. I took lots of pics of the car after I bought it. We drove to get it in my dad's '04 Beetle Turbo S, so his car is in almost all the pictures.

After we left the previous owner's house, we went to eat at this restaurant named Stevie B's Pizza. I thought it would be a good chance to get some pics.






After we ate lunch, we dropped by Best Buy so I could buy a new CD. The Geek Squad Beetles were parked right next to eachother, so I thought it would be funny for us to get some group pics with them. :laugh:










Its in just about perfect condition. Relatively clean interior, perfect paint, only 2 dents, and a good running 2.0. Only problems it has is the sunroof motor has died, and the back passenger window switch stops it going down periodically.

My dad is giving me some of the wheels he had on his Mk2 GLI so that I have something better than hubcaps & steelies. I asked if I could have the 1.8T engine from his Beetle too, but he said no.
My plans are to lower it about 2 inches, chip it, a TT exhaust, repair the sunroof, a decent stereo setup, and a VR6 lip. I have a specific style I want to go with, but everyone will just have to wait to see the car when I have money to do all of my plans to it.

That was such a great body for that car. There is ALOT you can do to it and most for not too much $$$(relative to some cars).
