Honestly a 20D is 95% as good image quality and about 90% as good for shooting moving objects as a 1D2.. I had a 1D2 for about 8 months and went back to a 20D. The only thing I miss about the 1D2 is the bigger sensor and less crop. It's all about good light and a good lens.. buy the best glass you can get.
