Don't get me wrong, I like the SR20DET just as much as anyone else. I just get annoyed when people think the SR20 is a super godlike engine. The RB series is a good engine. Swap the turbo, headgasket, studs, then counter-balance the crank and you got a solid engine that can rev to 11K. Hell, want more? Take the crank and sh*t out of a RB26 and make an RB24 with your RB20 then crank the boost.Originally Posted by wantboost
All I say is, both the SR and RB are good engines. The fact that the RB doesn't have as enormous an aftermarket doesn't make it a lesser engine. Both have great potential.
Besides, RB's sound a hell of a lot better with a straight pipe.
