    Default History Thread ....

    We'll, my car is slowly but surely evolving and I thaught i'd get a little History thread going to keep track of it. By the End of summer I will have some brand new pics with a few changes and some freshness....

    I baught the car as an 96 Honda Accord Coupe EX SOHC VTEC F22b In June of 2002.... She was spotless with 34,000 original miles. First two External Mods I did, Mugen Grill and SiR lip:


    After 18's the Monster Truck statis had to be fixed with some Tein SS coils ASAP

    the first lip i had was a fiberglass Accord SiR replica made in HK.. i smashed it messing around late one night doing handbrake drifts.... hahha.. I then put on a Ebay TypeR lip which lasted all of a few months (crap) but the whole time i was looking for the real thing....
    i've spent the next few years searching for the actualy honda version!!
    ie....

    Finally coped a few from a guy i met in thailand.. they get a lot of second hand jdm ish....




    so those are gettin painted now and also got the jdm yellow fogs
    and some honda access window visors and new wheels coming soon.

    looks good man i like the super clean engine bay.

    i need to go clean mine up a little bit..its hard to keep it clean w/ the cracks in my turbo manifold.

    thanx a lot guys for the support....... keeps me moving..hahha. so many peeps are always like..
    "you spend all your money on an ACCORD?!" ...
    but eh, the 5th gen accord body has always been one of my favorite cars,
    so when i found this one (my 3rd one actually) I new it was ON!!
    Its been a long road with a few bumps, but when i drive her on a nice smooth road, its all worth it.
    -and she will hang with a lot of cars that don't expect it!!

    the cops in that pic where on freedom prkway and i just pulled up and asked them to take a pic........
    they where really cool about it actually, some guy ran from them
    while i was there and they had to go chacing after him.

    I paid a lot to get those in the country, to much, and just now gettin them painted. I do need two, one for daily and one for back up/show

    however, i can get another one. I actually have a someone thats suppose to send me pics of two in thailand.... and i'm not trying to get them for everybody either!! Heck it took me 3+ years to get one myself. But seriously, lets get up. I want to check out your car.... we'll talk!!

    yeah man, i dug the subs.. but they where to big and heavy! 18's are not the best for porformance on an accord. If they where 17's, i probably would have kept them, atleast as back up wheels. I have some 17inch Volks coming soon though.

    im always working during the varsity meets...im changing departments this weekend so maybe depending on my new schedule in the new department at work i might be able to make it next week. i got them today..they are silver right now..i think im gonna paint them gold on wednesday and if i dont like it i will paint them gunmetal like my old wheels.

    i live near Little 5 Points. I'm hoping to have my new wheels by next week as well

    Gunmetal or Gold are both nice on Burgandy. ... how bout gunmetal with burgandy lips...mmmm

    haha.. i just like the painted lips thing i guess. but the subzero's are a classic shape, i would like to have a nice pair of Racing hart CP035's one day
