    Default My share: Formula D

Here are some I took, i only had a 192mb so..Didn't get much and please excuse if they suck. my heavy ass 70-300mm sigma is very heavy and i had no monopod. nor tripod for that matter.

Also it being my first time panning. What do you think? what can I do to improve? Nemesis: I want some C&C from you. I just saw your pictures. Skeet Skeet

    Enjoy.

Those pics arent too bad man! The first S2K one is the nicest! Even with all the other commotion the focus was dead on it.

What were your settings and were you shooting in shutter priority?

Definatly pick up some more memory cards. You Canon guys shoot in Compact Flash right?

    *UPDATE* Added more picture's.

I'd like to start off by saying, thanks to ECMgarret for not being negetive about it.
As far as the lense I could get pretty close up like Nemesis, but since I have nothing to stabalize the camera, I could not get a steady shot.

I am buying a monopod in the coming week or so after I buy my clutch and the rest of my stuff to finish my car.

I was using Shutter Priority, I beleive I had it at 1/40. I have a 512 Mb, buy I let my mother use the camera and she had it full, by the time I found a ride we needed to leave my crib before it was done uploading all of her pictures.

Yes I use a CF, going to also invest in 2 more 512.

First time panning also, so. I think the free case of ROCKSTARS also, may have helped.

Hahhaha thanks for the feedback guys.

    Later,

    Fern

Im sorry bro, I really have no Idea who that driver is.

Only driver's I know are, Sammy from Tiger Racing, Ken gushi, and Gabe from T3.

And Sam is the only one I know personally.

I shot all weekend without the use of a monopod or tripod. Even the night shots. Just need to learn your camera.

To be honest man, read your manual inside and out, and practice practice practice.

Thank's bro, I carry it everywere I go. As you can probably tell I am still getting to know my camera.

I can't keep my hand's too steady, I don't know why. But I cant. So i'll still Invest in a Monopod. Thanks for the feedback.

Looking at some of the pics you shot, you just need to learn the camera more, and practice without a tripod/monopod cause you will not always be able to have one there. I was shooting with the 70-300 but was not happy at all with any of the pics I got. Some were decent but I was in the wrong location from where I wanted to be due to certain people.

Here is a small sample of what I took.

Can you not READ, I said I was not happy with them DUE TO CERTAIN PEOPLE ON THIS SITE because I could not be where I wanted which was the location George was at. This is why you will only see these 5 and nothing else from that day on here, and yes Nemesis took some very good pics, my hats off to him on that.
