Default ls1 240sx up and running

coming to a forumla drift event near you

we took it to www.noproblemraceway.com last friday, showed up fashionably late, unloaded it from the trailer finished a couple things on it, then hit the track with it. took one lap in it make sure it wasnt leaking anything ( i was pretty sure it wasnt other than a small water leak we couldnt find until it was warm) and see how it felt

this is a short vid, 1st time car was on track
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThoU5wlLgcU]

came back in, found the water leak clear as day from some fittings for a water temp guage i forgot to put teflon tape on the threads. yanked it off and went back out, car ran great all day for never seeing a track, or much any driving before that day. wed drivent it up and down the street a couple times and that was it. other than a pinhole leak in a power steering line which we decided to just run dry w/o powersteering, the ebrake not working, and the alternator not working car worked great. were gonna try to get it out to paint sometime this week, and are prepping it for atlanta and a couple small events before then. runs great though, and the steering angle is retarted.

or ill just put stock shocks/springs, slicks on the back, and remove the rear swaybar and lift the front up as high as it will go.

I heard rumors... And i love it!! If im not mistaken, hinson racing will be making kits for the s13 soon, as they just finished the s14 up and have to make a few minor changes... www.hinsonsupercars.com. In a few years i'll probably be putting on of his kits in my FC with teh LS1. Low 12's with exhaust and intake. Fucking wicked fast.

Sick ass 240 though. You going to be at any AMS events?

i highly doubt u wanna drift a car set up for straight line racing. especially one making 9 sec passes on the regular.

i have a couple vids of some D1 series cars running the 1/4 mile. they didnt change susp set ups, camber/toe, tires/pressure, adjust boost or anything. they ran consistant low 11 sec passes (best ~11.25) thats with 375-400+ whp on cars not meant for straight line speed. im sure if he was making comparable power, and adjusted his settings to accomidate the form of racing im sure he could do both no problem. though i would say 9 sec passes may be pushing it if he still wants it to be a competitive drift car IMHO
