Hey guys,
It's been awhile since I posted a new topic. I haven't been frequenting the forum very much lately. Time is hard to come by these days. Well, I had the hatch painted St. Patty's Day weekend and this is how she turned out.
Color = Isuzu Brushed Pewter MetallicPaint shop: Sprayglo [Lilburn] Ran me about 800.00 ::: I wish they would've paid more attention to detail and gone the extra mile in some cases, but I settled with the outcome since it's just a street car. Next time, I'll do my own body work (hint, hint).
I realize, there's been alot of this spectrum car color lately. Well, what can I say? I've always liked the color. I have a pair of mirrors that will be painted soon. I'll have to post some daytime pics some time.
They did a good job of taping everything off...none of the moldings were painted. I think they actually removed most of the moldings and put them back.
All the jams were painted--under the hood (not the engine bay), doors, hatch, and complete tailgate...
What I was disappointed in: I told them I wanted everything to be smooth and perfect. I would have paid extra to have some of the dings smoothed out and imperfections removed. In one spot, it looks like a spider crack was just painted over. You know, how there's like a relief in the paint. Overall, they did a good job.
No more polished hood. And, blah, I'm tired of the rims.Yes, I still rock the 1.6 non-vtec. Comments welcome:::

^^^I only got one shot in before toy cop tells me I couldn't take pictures.
