That will be a nice NA LS7. 600+whp. I wouldn't put an aluminum frame up on a jack though. I know they say you can but still.

Edit: Just saw you were adding a bottle too.

I have the special jack pucks to lift it and then put jack stands under it where gm recomends to suport the weight.

When I say I hate you, it's pure jealousy.

Awesome plans. 600whp is definitely attainable with those parts and a good tune. It'll be an absolute monster off the bottle, and a whole nother ball game with a 100 shot.

BTW who did your valve covers? I can't tell if I like them yet but it looks quality. Better than flames on LS valve covers for sure.

Isn't the tag just on the top end, under the valve cover passenger side?

Yep. Ultra low tac painters tape. Better than sheets or blankets cuz they slide around and that causes scratches .

Make sure you change out the filter under the oil sending unit.

^ there is a small filter inside the block under the oil sending unit. Unscrews the oil sending unit from the block and you will see the filter, you should replace the oil sending unit as well but you dnt have to cuz the filter is what's more important. If you dnt you could see oil pressure drop while the engine is at idle and possibly at high RPM, this is a small but critical part that is often overlooked. Just food for thought I'm Certified GM Tech and Corvette Certified, I rebuild and over haul Engines, Transmissions, and Rear ends all day everyday.

That's gonna be one badass motor when your done, I just built an engine in our owners corvette with the same parts minus that intake. That's one nasty cam your getting and will have a nice sound, good luck with the build.

No problem bro. It's a screen type filter, it only needs to be replace when working on internal components of the engine and if the oil sending unit ever goes bad or starts to leak.

^^ Would an LS1 also have that filter? I'm not sure if mine has ever been replaced and may go ahead and do it I'd mine does have it. I'm assuming it does.

Depending on the yr, yes it should. I wouldn't worry about it unless you are having oil pressure fluctuation or you just feel the need to replace it, I always say you can't be peace of mind. Only time its recommended is during engine over haul/rebuild or if you replace the oil sending unit due to oil leaking through the sensor or if it just goes bad, it's not at all uncommon for them to go bad and leak through the sending unit.
