Not sure there was a older couple with a accent I think, and a few others who came to the Burrell meets.Originally Posted by eViLMunkey

LOL last time I saw him or that car it was in '03-'04 (can't really remember) and he still had it. Seems like he screwed over 'bout everyone that crossed his path...Originally Posted by Julio
Yeah I remember when he lived in Sugar Hill. Then I heard all the dirty dealings he did to folks. Wonder who is he screwing over now?Originally Posted by Echonova
White Hyundai Accent? That was Scott Morgan (Morgasm on IA). I talk to him rarely and he told me he doesn't really keep up with his car anymore. It's just transportation now.Originally Posted by Doppelgänger
I have to talk to them. The female is my wife's sister. Later, QD.Originally Posted by mike's02ls1
Oh yeah cause you had the Neon that sounded like it was camming but I know it wasn't...lol I even remember you having one of the sonic trays that hanged on your door, even was painted like your neon..Originally Posted by quickdodge®
Yeah car shit I seemed to remember good.... How about the Toys-R-Us days at the MOG? The car scene is nothing like it use to be, one thing is folks are getting dumber, and cops running everyone off good or bad..Originally Posted by quickdodge®
One more thing the new generation will never really see anymore......FINE women having a good time and partying with everybody.
I remember plenty of them that would give guys a run for their money drinking and doing wild stuff.
Like I said, I met a fine young lady when her then BF (now Husband) called her up and said, "Hey girl, get your butt up here and win us some money...".....and she did! That was the wet t-shirt contest on the back of a flat bed semi at the racetrack in Gainesville. They're some of my best friends now. Funny how things work out.
I never got to party at the hotel during the Nopi Nats, but I've heard the infamous stories. Those guys would stay up all night partying, but would get up bright and early to get their rides prepped to go in to Nopi Nats. True commitment back then. Don't see that much anymore. Hell, I dreaded freaking Pablo sticking his damn hand up my tail pipes and deducting points......fucker!!!! Hey, but it made me clean my shiot the next time. He wiped his dirty fingers on my score sheet too......fucker!!! Another one of my boys too. Again, funny how things work out.
Good ole days......I miss them in a way. A lot more work, but a lot more fun too.
Yep I was single making good money and living at home. So I had money to blow on my cars.....Originally Posted by Jaimecbr900

This is by far the greatest thread Ive ever read on IA. Real talk from real people.
Those days will never be relived, however, never forgotten. Those were to days of massive groups of friends getting together and helping each other for a common goal.
Not just within a particular club, but within the scene. X-Rated helping PI helping ECI helping International AllStars.
Its was a blast while it lasted. We all knew it wouldnt last long but we put forth all our efforts to do it.
Now to whore mine out, LOL
Post up all the good model pics......
I'm sure some of you OG's have some good un's.....
LOL, oh boy do we! The one by bus driver j above was from a 10-12 car, 6-7 girl model shoot in downtown, and they were all nude... let me tell you, that was a fun day, especially gettign all the cars in there that were lowered with bodykits... NOT fun! LOLOriginally Posted by Jaimecbr900
Yeah, that was the worst parking lot and getting the cars in the studio SUCKED!!
Photo shoot was awesome. I probably had the ugliest girl but she had the biggest tits.
Jimmy B. and Matt (Silver Beetle with flames) had a hot chick in their cars, if I remember right.
break the chop sticks out because i'm seeing RICE......

Thank you for that compliment. We can never forget where we came from in this hobby. Nor can we forget what we've done amongst ourselves. I don't think there will ever be another crowd of people to gather together with NOT ONE INCIDENT like ours. The MOG Toys R Us meets where we literally had over a hundred people every weekend with the cops only riding through to have their fucking pictures taken with us. Like you said, everyone helping everyone. Nowadays too many people have a chip on their shoulder and "something to prove." Later, QD.Originally Posted by Bus Driver J

This is the wrong thread to come and disrespect those people that made your bag of nuts of bolts popular TO BEGIN WITH......"wrekonize" that and STFU.

i came into this hobby late. a buddy of mine who used to be on here had an old 89 prelude with a body kit and exhaust. he along with all the OG's and the way they built their show cars made me love imports the way i do now. Im young, not going to lie. only 22, i didnt get the chance to be in those days of xrated, prefected images, wTn etc. i wish i did. i came in at the but end of it. I see cars with body kits and and i still love them. cause honestly thats what its about. doing what you want not what your budy standing next to you thinks you should do.
Im with DO, i know thins will never be the same as far as style goes. but i wish the fun, brotherhood that everyone shared during that time would still be around. personally i don't like being around a lot of people on this site cause of the stupid shit that everyone takes personally off this site. does that make sense? no but shit happens. i dont know if any thing like what was back then will ever happen, but i hope it does.

he traded it in and got a G6 coupe.. last i spoke to him a few months ago!Originally Posted by quickdodge®

Props to the OGs, and those that continue to CUSTOMIZE their cars, not follow a trend that seems to supress creativity.
That's a hypocritical statement, lolol. Everyone these days pretty much follows everyone elses trends because everything that can be done to most of these cars have already been done. There is really no room for originality now. Later, QD.Originally Posted by AirMax95

Take a look at F&F, would a car that was built todya look like those? no.. but back then, thats was people wanted, so we built them like that... take a step back, and enjoy the history of the "import" scene and the history of IA
