Looks good! Why the floppy paddles, and a shifter? Or is it an auto, with a shift boot?

    ^^^^ that

6 speed dual clutch auto. It's not a bad tranny, but I'd have gotten the manual.

I wanted an Evo X so bad when they first came out. Now I'd rather just have an VIII or IX. It seems they make power easier but I also have not kept up with and X builds.

The evo 10's make power easily as well, although Im not a pro on this subject. If I had the budget I'd love to build a 600whp evo x track monster.

I wish they looked a little more aggressive like any of the older Evolutions Nice cars though, lots of potential.

i know it's fast and all that, and maybe even faster shift response time than a manual, but there is nothing like having that third pedal for your left foot and constantly having to shift with your right hand,....... nothing like it, now with the GTR, forget what i just said

    I like it.
If I could have gotten an automatic with my car I probably would have went with it. As much fun as a manual is, Its tough to beat an auto with a nice stall

This doesnt make any sense to me...or maybe its because I am tired and have to be at work in a few hours but....

....how does the car being a GTR make it any better when it has the same shifting concept? Just because its a GTR?

I obviously favor manuals over any type of autos as well, but dual clutch auto's can be fully manually shifted. I'm sure we're all used to crappy tiptronic crap that comes in most auto cars but a tranny like this gives you just as much control with it as I have with my true manual gearbox, the only difference is hand placement. Instead of shifting with my right hand on the center console, I'm merely depressing a paddle with my right or left hands, but the concept is still the same. As long as the user retains control on the engine and tranny I don't see the difference in calling something an auto vs manual.
