Default Christmas for my RSX-s, Progress Coils, FIKSE Forged

I recently traded my Lexus is300 for this stock 2006 Acura RSX-s. I absolutely love the gas mileage and K power. I could only handle driving it stock till now. Going on this week are Progress Competition Coilovers, SPC Camber kits F&R, VOLK Formula Lug Nuts, and FIKSE forged Aro wheels 17x8 +32. I will be updating as I work on her this week.

    Yes they are.

For whatever reason though, they are very squeaky on my car.

I went to Function & Form to go a little lower in the front. In retrospect, the fraction of an inch wasn't worth it. I ended up tearing my CV boots because of the way the shock body threads down through the main coilover body. To avoid that you have to screw with the preload which leads to poor ride quality.

The Progress are NOTORIOUS for noise, it has to do with the free floating spring design. All you can do it slather the springs and perches with synthetic grease, that's will solve the noise 95% of the time. Your noise should be coming from the rear correct Andy?

Yep. I usually just hit them with some wd40 and that hold it off for awhile.

Both of you also check to make sure the rear shock bodies are not contacting the trailing arms. As you know, Progress builds their coilovers in production runs. Nearly every run has revisions. There is a version that had this clearance issue; I had to notch my arms. In later runs Progress started grinding down the bottom of the shock bodies.

I will be rolling them with an Eastwood roller I rent from a friend locally. This will be my 3rd car to roll fenders on.

Hey man. Nice to meet you tonight in Greenville. Small world. I was going to give you a ride tonight to feel the ride quality of the coilovers but turned around and saw your friends s2000s gone. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Wish you still had the lude...

    RSX is coming along though.

F20B(some internals)/Turbo is coming along for me right now. Wire tuck is done, just need mounts and waiting on a few fun things to come in and it should make 350ish.

I miss the prelude like crazy man. Thanks for the compliment. Sounds like your prelude is coming along man. Power is going to be real fun. I still have the jdm window visors and seat brackets if you want them.

I see no problem at all with the tire size. Better protection from pot holes and shit that are all over the state.

I think its perfect just the way it sits.
