    I took a $10k+ loss yesterday. Insurance did not pay for the accident. I sold the car for $5800 today.

    I hope you switched insurance companies...


    Why was it denied? I thought insurance had to pay if there was no extenuating circumstances (ie: driving on a suspended license etc).

    Yes we did. I wasn't listed as a driver (because the policy started in Jan, I got my license in May.) so they didn't cover it because I was driving and wasn't on the policy. If I didn't live with my parents, they would of paid for it. You live and you learn. Shit happens. I'm out of 10k+. Life goes on.
