Default After going through so many cars, iv found the one!!

Got an amazing deal, and couldn't pass it up.

Have always loved GLI's since this version came out, and finding one in my favorite color was a huge plus.

Just a quick pic i snapped today.

Super clean inside and out, and very well taken care of. Iv been through 6 cars this year, which to a few on here isnt a lot, i guess.. but, this is the one im going to stick with for a while lol.

As far as upgrades, turbo back exhaust, upgrade ECU, CAI... Call it a day, love the hell out of it!!

I like the way it sits now, but MAYBE in the future going just a smidge lower.

    Great purchase man.

20th GTI's and GLI's are the best cars VW has made in the last 15 years. Recaros, 6 speed, lip kit, sideskirts, black headliner/aluminum trim, BBS's, upgraded suspension/brakes. Great car for the money, glad you found an unmolested one too.

Edit: Also from my experience the best bolt on parts for the money: Evolution Motorsports/ABD intake, Baileys Diverter Valve, exhausts are all the same depends on your budget, GIAC chip.

nice pickup, I like these cars. Are they reliable? I've heard bad things about Vw's.

In 7 years with a 1.8turbo I spent probably $2200 in unscheduled maintenance. The aftermarket support for the motor is amazing though and its so easy to find cheap or used oem parts.

Thanks for the parts list Kyle, I will look into those very soon. I may ask a thing or two on down the road, if you don't mind helping me out. Sounds like you are very knowledgeable about these cars.

    And thanks guys
