Default out with the old in with the older...????

so last month i sold the a3 in 5 hours on craigslist

    but a week before i sold it i picked up a 02 tdi golf 5sp with 155k

first thinks first i did all the maintenance timing belt h20 pump etc
    and coilovers the first week

then i got lucky and got a fender and bumper cover in silver for FREE!!!

this week i put in a euro switch and did the euro fog light

already order some wheels im hoping to have them in a week or two they are coming from canada.

so this is my stable as of right now

    update 9/19/12

new wheels are in and on more low to come soon!

Love it man, I was sad to see you sold your A3 but that was a great snag man, I'd love a Mk4 Golf TDI. Nice caddy by the way.

Audi completely nicer looking than the VW. The tire stretching thing is gross.

The best part of your pics, though, is seeing a VW truck in one of them. More pics of that would be nice.

i agree with these posts, but if you did that work to the audi, i have high hopes that should be satisfied w/ progress.

yes the audi was a nicer car but when you have 15k in your savings i sleep very well at night. plus the golf gets 47mpg and i driver 100miles a day.
the stretching is a bit extreme but the tires are brand new and came with the wheels i may go up one size next go around but i have to stretch them to make them fit.
    truck info here
    diesel smoke

if you only knew what i paid for the golf you wouldnt think i was on bath salts.

well i'm rooting for a good progression, that's why i said if you did the work on the audi, i have high hopes for the vdub. and i understand having a money stash in your bank account opposed to having to worry about car payments every month supercedes all.

    Love it!!

I drive 100 miles a day too, so I know how that is. Been thinking about buying a second car as a daily to keep the miles low on the mk6.

    Keep up the good work
