So last Monday I picked up a 2008 Mini Cooper S. I got a killer deal on it and weighing in at just over 2600lbs and making 170hp and 175ftlbs stock this thing is quick on its feet and nimble as well. I also get about 35mpg on a the Highway.

This jetta was probably one of the faster cars out there before it kissed the wall. the fastest time I recorded for the day was the #012 E36 BMW at 1:36.2 and the #68 Corvette was running a 1:36.8. They Yellow GT3 was running in the 1:40s until he had a blow out and the Bullet mustang was making a fool out of most of the corvettes that were there. My personal best time was a 1:58.0 and I was partial throttle ( still scooting at 135mph) for most of the nascar banks.

Barber is Going to be great from what I have heard. I only ran one of the afternoon sessions to see what I needed to handle prior to running a full event.

I like that style cooper you picked up, it seems like a fun car to drive, I just dislike the newer model because to me they look like they are swollen mini coopers.

He isn't going to, it has an extended warranty for mini to 91k.

The jetta is owned by Bryson Richards from Wagonwerks in Alpharetta. He kissed the wall at about 130ish from what i remember. Not major damage but it was will alot of aftermarket parts he destroyed. heres a picture or the damage. ohh and btw he walked away which is good.
