Was out scoping places to watch fireworks and took the opportunity for a couple of pictures.
I am starting to realize I need to use more than a kit lens

Mike, dude....I just love your car.
I came sooooo close to buying a MSM last month, but ended up with another 350Z instead.
This car is really well put together. Everything looks good.
Mike, you've got a great location there. The kit lens can work (its not the best, but usable), since you want to get everything in focus, but you probably need to wait for a good day with low haze, use filters, and bracket. Then post-process the photos to layer the best of each shot, plus take out some of the cables behind the car.

Thanks guys.
I dunno, the kit lens just doesn't seem to get the level of sharpness that I want. I know I need to get a polarizer :/
I'd like to get back up there when the weather is clear, but that won't be happening until much later...a non hazy summer day in Atlanta? Not happening!
As for the cables- I had thought about it, but I was on my laptop and just wanted to give the pics a quick cleaning up....editing out the cables will take more time...and I'm not sure if it will look right or look like something is missing, but I'll probably end up seeing what it looks like.
I wonder what the lighting is like up there at night.....
Chad- I don't think I could see you in anything but a Nissan product lol The guys at Forged would reject you hahahah. But seriously, the MSM is a good start if you ever decide to get one. Me being a Miata guru, knows all the shortcomings of the MSM (like the steering rack having a larger turning radius than other Miatas, and the unbelieveably short 4.1 rear gear), but like with any car, a few tweaks can transform the car.

Nighttime shot could be really good. Haze should be lower, and the lights would twinkle. You probably will need a couple of flashes though.

Cars looking good as always, just fyi the vivitar polarizer I used was only like 15 bucks on ebay. It may not be pro quality, but I'm not a pro and I dont make money from this so I dont need top of the line stuff.
Shhhhhh...you'll give away my super secret plan.

the 2nd pic is probably the best photo of a miata you will ever see. Car looks great, pictures flatter it even further.
I've seen this car a couple times, I love it. Looks aggressive up front, and it's not just all show. Good job on the car, shots look great.

I am pretty sure that I have seen this miata before......
Those wheels are nice. We have an IS300 in shop at the moment sitting on the same rims but in 19". Definitely a good looking design that's not over done.
