Default Forged Performance: 2013 GT-R Black Edition FP600

In December of 2011 we had a gentleman by the name of Chris contact us for advice on obtaining a 2013 Black Edition Nissan GT-R. He had observed numerous members of the Forged Performance team deeply involved in conversations online over Nissan's newest version of Godzilla. We currently had three of these amazing cars on pre-order for two Forged Employees and one very close friend, for this reason we have been very active in the discussions surrounding the forthcoming GT-R. Chris stayed in constant contact with us over the next few months as he went through the process of purchasing his newest GT-R. Chris originally contacted us for advice on acquiring his new GT-R but at some point in the conversation the decision was made to have the car shipped directly to us from the dealership floor instead of his residence in Oklahoma. While even in virgin form the 545 HP 2013 GT-R is a very potent machine, Chris just wasn't going to be content with stock. We wanted to keep this brand new GT-R as smooth as possible while improving the mid-range torque, top-end horsepower, braking abilities and handing. While this isn't a fully built car, it is the perfect balance of comfort, reliability and performance.

    Forged Performance FP600R Package:
    • Cobb Tuning SF Intakes
    • AMS Downpipes
    • CBRD 90MM Y-Pipe
    • HKS Legamax Premium Exhaust
    • Cobb AccessPort
    • Forged Performance Custom ECU Caliberation

    • Forged Performance R35 GT-R Sway Bar Kit
    • Endless MX72 Brake Pads
    • Forged Performance Brake Line Kit
    • RBF 600 Brake Fluid
    • Willall Transmission Fluid
    • Willall Differential Fluid
    • Motul Engine Oil Fluid

From what we have seen so far, stock 2013 GT-R's crank out roughly 410-420WHP whp on our low reading Dyno Dynamics Dyno. Nissan made the decision, it appears to really run the car rich in the midrange to keep the torque loads a littler lower than normal. Much like the other 2013's we have tuned, the midrange improvement is noteworthy where we saw gains of 120whp and 150wtq with a peak of 502whp! This is sure to make Chris's GT-R an extremely enjoyable street car that is guaranteed to put a smile on his face every time he cruises the back streets of Oklahoma City! We are pretty certain Chris will be back in the fall for a serious big build round of upgrades. Enjoy!

It is a very nice, high quality full titanium cat-back. It sounds really nice and aggressive as well.

It is the same exact shortblock in all the R35 GT-R's. In 12 they went from 480HP(09-11) to 530HP with a different boost map and larger turbo intake inlets. In 13 they went to 545HP but Nissan never released how they obtained the extra 15 HP, it is rumored to having additional headwork but we don't know for sure.............................yet.
