That thing could be SICK with a little work. That's a good project to build.

4.6L v8, twin turbo...
Not gonna lie its one of the ugliest cars even made but hey good luck on the build
Speaking as a hot rod enthusiast... please do not use the term rat rod. That is unless you have cobbled it together from shoestrings and duct tape therefor making it unsafe. Just saying from a rodders POV. People that call my car a rat rod get corrected very quickly as my speedster is very safe. Not being dickish, just saying because that car is too nice to e considered a rat.

Ok. Thats cool, but calling it a rat rod is like a major insult to real rodders. To be honest though I think some of the Merc and Caddy gold-chainers might get angry at that being called a lead sled... unless they have used lead to rod it.
Had a talk with an old old Model A guy who i was trying to uy an engine from. Nice engine, but he was asking premium plus prices. I reminded him that if he wanted the hoy to survive for guys in my age racket they have to work on prices.
Asking those old guys to think back to their broke ass youth helps the negotiating process. I want to see these old cars survive, but the f-ing gold chainers are killing the old cars. They would rather see them e junked then give the young guys a shot with them.
But I digress.

BTW, love the cafe racer.

Agreed^ Even my Model A, when running, is as daily driven as the weather allows. Too much fun to leave indoors.

damn, thats badass!!
yeah i love it. took it for a late night ride tonight. have to patch some spots in the floor pan, seal the doors, and integrate some type of windshield wiper on it, but overall, a fun, peppy, good gas mileage car.
oh, and i have to fix an oil leak problem. looks like the vc gasket but i cant be sure until i dive further into it
can you post more pictures, please?
Polish up that front bumper, get some awesome old wheels with beauty rings or polished dome hubcaps, and then it's all just motor work.
Wow this thing is beast!
only thing i would do to it is lower the rear some more
