Why wire tuck a D series bay? that's kind of a stupid question, same reason people wire tuck B,H and K series.

I don't see how that's a dumb question at all. A lot of time and money was put into shaving and tucking, with all those components out it's just a surprise to put back in a seemingly stock D motor....most people doing that kind of work are showing off a nice swap, build, or turbo setup.
