finished my jdm db8

ok it starded a thread a week ago about leaving the badges on or off. well i though i would post a few pics on my progress of the car. i will update through the process an i work an get parts in.





i filled in the holes where i had the itr wing on. trash that.



filled in a few spots where someone couldnt drive an caught both doors.



i didnt take pics of it but i will tomorrow. the rear bumper where it has integra in the bumper over the exhaust, i filled that in as well. fill free to comment. opinions are like butt holes everybody has one.



ok here is the rear bumper where we filled it in.





ok the car is painted an cleared. but has to be finished. the bumpers an skirts have to be painted still though. i think it looks beautyful but i really cant complain because this paint job didnt cost me a thing. i did some work on a car for the guy. so on to the pics.

i know i wont be able to come up with one by the time it gets ready to paint. i would love to shave that thing. eye sore.

Shave it buy a ftermarket one from autozone and put it under dash thats what i done with my mini trucks it picked up radio stations and everthing fine.

You could also get the OEM window antenna for the 98+ DB8.

Its a onstar antenna. I have had it in my toolbox. Got it when I worked at chevy. Use to do update on them an I thought I may need the antenna one day. I just had to find a mount that would work with it. It picks up the same.

nice. i have a db8 (frost white) and my antenna is shaved (along with the trunk keyhole, etc) - i have one of those small antennas mounted on my windshield (u can barely notice it's there) and it picks up all stations (including AM) just fine. the short one u have looks pretty cool too though, def an improvement over stock

It deff would look at clean with all of it shaved but the small one does have its perks too. Conversion piece. Lol people would either shave them put a s2k antenna on or what not but this is a lil different.
