Yeah man I'd be down. I'm still a few months before mine is completely road worthy. Just moved back down from NY so I don't have a lot of money to play with or a place to work on it at the moment. We used to do the meets back in the day and run like 6 mk3s deep.

Yeah you know the biggest issue is that people don't understand that this is a 20 year old turbo car which has most likely gotten the shit kicked out of it for that amount of time before you bought it (but the headgasket deal is also definitely a real issue from the factory).

This is my car's history simplified... bought -> blown headgasket -> Ran great -> spun rod bearing -> went 2j.

I actually built another 7m before the 2j but wasn't particularly happy with the machine shop's work.
