Yeah he's fine. From what I heard the trans locked up at 145mph. Saw it from the other end of the track. Looked a lot worse. Glad he's ok though.

thanx guys..... im not hurt and im in good spirits even though i took a big lost today, but im alive so thats all that matters.. the car wont be patched up, i already got a shell to go pick up and get back to it..... this was my first pass off the trailor, 10.6@147mph and the tranny broke at 147mph sending me into the guard rail. all in all, my team picked up the slack and showed out as we won all motor comp and were runner up in all motor. and even though i crashed i put up a ridiculous mph which im happy about, the car was only gonna get faster throughout the day... shout out to morris for driving his ass off today. also shout to luis (effiliated) for not missing a beat at the line and treeing (EVERYBODY) that lined up next to u......we are here, thats all i gotta say.... thanx again

Sir, that was the first FULL pass in the car EVER so i didnt know wat it would do, i had an idea but i was expecting MPH at 30lbs not 23LBS..... but u are right none the less, the cage was on order but taking too long. And thanks the advice because im assuming ur not being sarcastic about this and neither am i.... lol... the first mod on the next car will be the cage, and a damn neck brace cause my neck is killing me...lol
Most of the time, seeing things like that soften the blow on the interwebz. But I actually cringed when I saw that. SO much custom work ruined, and so much money. I know it has to be a gut wrenching feeling, but you learn from situations like this. Good luck on the next go around. Maybe invest in dogtooth gears? lol.
yup, i knew the tranny wasnt gonna hold up , but never expected it to break up top. thought it would break shifting or on the launch. however u already know, i am coming back twice as hard and a dogbox is definately being put in the budget right now as we speak.

But come on man, 147mph WITH NO CAGE? Thats rediculous and flat out wreckless. You could have killed yourself. i hope you had at least a cam lock harness although without a harness bar it prob wouldnt have done much but break your neck. Please put a cage in that thing man or you may not walk away next time. YOu been doing this long enough you know what that car was capable of. Hitting the wall at 23 lbs or 30lbs with no cage just makes a smaller grease spot to clean up.

we thank u vtecckidd for ur kind words... but at the same time this was my first time making a full pass in the car so i never knew wat to expect because the power was turned down, especially spinning so badly off the line. but ur right, 147mph with no cage is reckless. i had a cage ordered and it was taking forever. when i called them the said they were still making it when they advertised the already had it made ready to be shipped. so i didnt have it in time. hey josh green ran 10.4 with no roll cage, just lucky for him his tranny didnt grenade like mine did
all in all vtecckidd ur right and i will take heed to all of this... new chassis will be here by the weekend and the first order of business will be the 10pt cromoly roll cage. but once again thanks for ur kind words sir

Glad youre ok though seriously, we all know what can happen in an instant especially with the cars we drive now. Street racing is never safe, track is the only place you can try to really be structured and its still dangerous.
