S13s hook like hell with the IRS and good tires. No need for all that work on this setup. I can't wait to just drive the car, much less a good launch at the track on a transbrake with a 3600 stall.
On a side note, I found new old stock coils and brackets for the engine today... $50. Can't beat it!

This is the only weak link in the rear end of a 240sx, good thing they cost about $40 to replace. You're only going to break a 240 rear end if youre slick launching @ 400-500+ hp car......
You would do the same to almost any other rear end if you didnt address the axles. Mustangs break stock 8.8 axles all the time even with slow cars..... Nothing wrong with the rear ends that nissan provides. Like every other rear end, you gotta upgrade the axles if you want to go hard, or keep replacing them.
bingo! 240 rear ends are pretty strong. granted, i drive mine in a completely different motorsport and this reference may not help, but i do know of a driver that drove a 500hp KA-T and didnt break an axle for a couple drifting seasons, and when he did, he ordered some from DSS and hasnt had a problem since. and now hes got an LS7 in it

Gonna correct you on one part...the "slow mustangs" that are breaking axles arent breaking axle they are breaking c clips that hold the axles in...but on a side note i know of lots of stock axle mustangs cuttin sub 1.8 60's they arent shit and it takes a lot of power/traction to break the c clips but all else sounds and looks good
