In a way I dished out money on mine. I bought mine all torn up, though, not already built (redone). But I know I don't have any skill to do any work to mine so I had no choice (well I guess I could have learned) but to pay others to do the work on mine. But I don't claim I did any work. Gotta give props where they are due.

And speaking of giving props where due, I give the OP some props for doing his own work (if he did). I think lowly of the subject and the (so far) end result, but it's cool to have the knowledge to do your own work. Later, QD.
