AE86 - From 8/2008 to 8/2011

I'll keep it short. Got the car in summer 08 and after wanting to sell it at various stages I decided to keep it and finish it how I wanted it. Thats where I am at now. Sorry for poor quality. Thanks for looking.


First bought:



New wheels:







New paint and new bumpers: The painter was a mistake and I knew I would eventually want to repaint.









New paint and bumpers again (I got rear ended). Got the car painted in time for Import Alliance (thanks Dave Wilson).









Just got the car back after crashing into a light post like an idiot. Also Initial D fanboy stickers just came in :

Well considering he followed the paint scheme of the "initial D" 86, so i'm assuming he's going for that look (tho i think it would look better w/o them too)

Yea thats what I was going for even though mine's a coupe and not a hatchback. I dont think they look retarded lmao. But i understand how some people dont like them, and when i get tired of the look i can take it off.

Body kit looks like a snow plow without skirts. I dont like stickers or 2 tone paint jobs either.

2nd picture down, body lines flow, color looks good, wheels fit the car good, factory markings look way better than chinese stickers. Coupe body looks sleek and not like a snow plow. Skirts that flowed with the body lines would be a massive improvement.
