If there was no chassis then there would be no support. Chassis are not just cars that have frames, uni-bodies stripped down are chassis. I'm a mechanic and on a pit crew for a road course racer so i do know what I'm talking about unlike some people that just look stuff up on wiki, which is always right (sarcasm). Well then if I am misinformed please enlighten me on how a unibody car does not have a chassis. A unibody stripped down to nothing meets the requirements of a chassis, it is a steel support structure that affect the rigidity and holds in all of the essential running gear as per it's definition.
