Default Forged Performance: R35 GT-R Track Day Build

Earlier this week I took one of our customer's GT-R's out for a quick photoshoot since the current portion of the build was completed. This car has been modified with the intentions of spending most of its life on the track yet still keeping it street legal for an occasional Sunday afternoon cruise. Coming all the way from New Jersey, this is the second time this customer has shipped his GT-R to Forged Performance and we were eager to refine things for more track oriented use. On the first trip to our shop the car received suspension, brake and power upgrades. This time the car returned for additional cooling, suspension, and safety modifications.

Here is a quick run down on this particular Forged Performance built and tuned R35 GT-R:

    •Harman Motive Intakes
    •Forge Motorsports Blow Off Valves
    •AMS MAF Sensors
    •TopSecret Titanium Intercooler Piping
    •AMS Downpipes
    •AMS 90mm Race Midpipe
    •5Zigen Exhaust
    •Cobb Tuning Accessport
•Forged Performance Road Race ECU Calibration
    •Willall Oil Cooler
    •Willall Front Differential Cooler
    •Willall Rear Differential Cooler
    •HKS DCT Transmission Cooler
    •Willall Victory Spec Transmission Fluid
    •HKS Honeycomb Transmission Oil Pan
    •HKS Kansai Brake Duct Kit
    •Willall WR35WS Braking System
    •AP Racing J-Hook Brake Rotors
    •Carbotech XP-12 Brake Pads
•JRZ RS Pro Silent Edition Coilovers
    •Dodson Motorsports Front Adjustable A-arms

What a well built car...I'd love to take this thing out to a track!

Just saw this from the other thread asking about local cage builders. Looks damn good, any reason you all went with the x brace between the main hoop versus the typical single diagonal with the full length horizontal? Not that it's a bad thing, just curious.

is that the normal way for painting a cage? Looks like a hassle for the painter.
