I am excited lol. That manifold is sex man. Maybe consider a new EFR turbo :)
Ahhhhhhh......in the shop.....making progress......

I think the exterior just needs the IX front and JDM rear and it's set. Those wheels weren't doing it for me at first but now they are just fucking fantastic.
The plan is JDM rear, Carbon side skirts, black housing headlights with 8 front bumper with a nose chop and carbon lip.
like this....

The wheels are very understated, which I do like. Also not many people run Rays 57 Motorsports wheels which makes the car somewhat different, which is hard to do. I might go to TE37 Super laps or RE30's in silver one day but for now other things are a priority.
Aye, dont be jocking my nose chop!!! This town aint big enough for two AS EVOs with nose chops..............:taun:
cool lack of a maf bro, way to be a honda.

What you think about that wrinkle red valve cover huh? Type ARRRHHHH tYt3 y0!
From what I have read Full Race only made about 10 proto-types of these vertical core FMIC's. They could not get the cores on a consistent basis and had to stop making them. The advantage is in turbo response and spool vs a standard FMIC. This set-up eliminates 22 inches of charge piping!
I like the type r valve cover, and the smoke like a muffugga from sitting so long with a blown up motor residue, i bet lol!!
I dont think that advantage applies to all vertical flow FMIC's as it would solely depend on if you reduced the amount of piping, dimensions of the intercooler, piping diameter etc... What I do like about certain vertical flows is that more often then not the end tankes are tapered, and it cools the air more efficiently since you are using the whole intercooler, instead of a horizontal where airflow may not actually flow through to cool charged air. IE bumper blocking etc.
Less piping, and area = less volume = less work the turbo has to do to fill these areas, creates less lag, and less boost drop over the system.
You are correct sir lol this motor was built over a year ago and has just been sitting. I was very happy to see it started so easily.
For a person like me who is very concerned about spool the Full Race vertical core FMIC system is great. Hopefully the combonation of that set-up, twin scroll manifold and a billet wheel custom 33R turbo will give me the power band I am after. The last thing I want is a curve like the black neon lol
badass.
Like
months????? fucking tune that shit, pussy.
Hahaha! I wish it wa that easy. We are very busy and I get no special treatment, I have to get in line like everybody else. I am scheduled for my "WG pressure, break-in, drive it for a few weeks to make sure everything is good" tune on the 27th. After that I will order my new turbo and injectors.
omg. you disappoint me, tune it like you plan on beating it! hard! fuck that break in shittttttttttttttttttt
Ill make you throw it on there faster when I drag you down the highway in the accord, notice i said highway and not dig.
gonna be a good build and project
Getting ready for the break in tune next week....

Gotta love that Full Race vertical core intercooler
This car is growing on me, i've never really been a fan of this gen of Evo, but that manifold really helps :goodjob:
Engine bay looks clean. Nice little EVO build :goodjob:
Thanks guys :)
Looking gud sir. Moar now!
shit looks slow!!!
