vibrant purple?! you mean lighter?! i was actually going for a darker purple, but this did all it needed to. it pretty much stays until im ready to switch the color. besides they are DD/everything rims, that required a bookoo amounts of work for them to look decent again

At least you admit you did this not for yourself, but for the approval of others. I'll be honest and blunt (something I'm NOT known for). It looks horrible. Not one good thing to say about it, Sam. It honestly makes the car look like it's been cheaply modified.

If you car has a pearl to it then maybe you can add a metallic clearcoat, it might darken it up too.

I think this would've looked great. One of the biggest things about this site is that people automatically assume it's "hate" when someone doesn't like something you've done to your car. It's just opinions, take their opinions and keep it moving. If you like some of the things they said, then change it. If you love the mod you did and don't have any regret, keep it.

i did it for me, because i appreciate it. this is the only 'cheaply' done thing on my car. everything else on it is quality parts and work. i'm not mad you dont like it, i expected it, especially from you, if you liked it, THEN i would have been worried lol.

i'm one that doesnt like to see painted OEM wheels, but these were gouged to all hell, so it didnt phase me to try something out on them.

naw, what you see with this color, is what you get. as far as purple, once i grow tired of the look, itll get resprayed. these are my daily wheels so i'm far from worried about switching the colors on them to maintain interest with them. when the time arrives for me to get new wheels..believe me..itll be worth it

i LOVED that satin black...it really took alot for me to keep on spraying after i laid down that coat, but that was a primer coat so i left it as is...but the gloss..it was ok, wasnt really my thing because everyone has the black painted wheels
