Default Honda + Turbo + Sony = Success

I got bored today and decided to take some new and updated pix of the car. Here's how it sits today.

2007 Civic Si with a FullRace Manifold, GT30R Twinscroll, XXR Wheels, Seibon hood, and more.

Idk. It's a nice car but everything is just all wrong to me. Specifically the headlights.

yea, the headlights were added in 2009 when the car was hit in a parking lot and I've not liked em since. They were'nt the first choice, and I'm actually going back to the stock ones so I can have them retro'd.

nice.. how much whp is putting down and @ what psi on the 30r? And I didn't know full-race comes with a twinscroll for a si espec for a 30r? 30r is usually a t3 flange not a t4.... And that doesn't look like a fg2 si full-race kit at all.. FMIC isn't a vertical and the bov isn't a tial.. And also ic piping doesn't look like full-race..

Looks a greddy kit if you ask me.. Unless you upgraded your greddy kit with a full-race kit but they don't offer that option for the fg2 at this point only for the dc5..

Like I said its the full race manifold and 30r, not the entire kit. I started with a greddy and when full race made their kit finally llast year, the only thing needed was the injectors, manifold and turbo. No need to change the intercooler. DVCUSTOMS in augusta had a 30r twin scroll laying around from another project and since they are my builders, they wanted to see if they could make out work and they did after a week of busted knuckles and lots of cursing.

nice... how much does it put down? And just out of curiousity, how did you make the single-scroll full-race manifold fit a twinscroll 30r?

I'll find out saturday at JJSPEC or whatever it's called for their dyno day what the low boost numbers are. It's slightly over 400whp on 12psi. the restrictor is the FMIC, but again, I wasn't gonna spend money on something that I already had. my goal was 400whp, and I could still push it to 14psi, but I hit my goal for a fairly quick, reliable, trackable honda.

If the wheels had a tad more lower offset they would be alot better. Still a nice car none the less.

more aggressive wheels and we'd be good, otherwise the scheme is looking good.

Who gives a shit what turbo it has and what manifold is mated to what.....

I like the car other than the headlights and the wheels. Maybe a different wheel option but the same color.

You in the central GA area? I say leave it like that. People see the exterior and will assume an AEM intake. Then you blow their doors off, lol. Just do you.

I can't belive im saying this but......the look of the car is kind of refreshing. The car is styled like what shop sponsored car would have looked like modified right out of the box in 2007. It reminds me of my Nopi and Modified Magazine days. Plus, if its actually making 400 to the wheels, you could smoke 99% of the cars on this site.

Fixed that little part for ya thanks again bro, and yes, most of us with the FR Manifold's and GT28's, GT30's, and even a few wild asses running GT35r's are putting down well over the 400whp mark without reallly trying. Honda did a pretty good job with the K-Series and the guys at Hondata have created a great platform for us to tune off of.

Sadly, last night I found out that my wife is pregnant, and I'm now looking into new car options... lol... but she said "you can keep the civic though baby"... first kid too
