Doubt. You're driving the s2000 incorrectly, and not in your dreams 48.

Uh ok, I went to TN over the weekend and it was AVG 48 when I got there. But I guess you're smarter than my VW!

I avg ~30 in the Ap2 on the way to the mountains doing at least 75 the whole way up 400. Be careful with your exaggerations.

So why's it hard to imagine 48 in a car that built for MPG? I would take a photo, but don't want to spend any effort to please someone who's trying to pick a fight on the interwebs

I am sorry that you made a foolish statement, and that you are so foolish to defend it.

I am not saying that I doubt that you avg'd 48(even though I do), I am saying that there is something wrong with your s2000 or you if you really only avg 20.

I know a thing or two about hypermiling.

OH ok, I thought you were doubting the VW. I could care less what you think about my S2000! Thanks for believing in the VW!!

If the mk6 is a diesel then I would not hesitate to believe as much as 60 mpg. Any other motor I wouldn't put past 35. Especially 2.0t.
