im not the biggest fan of older hondas but i really respect what you have done. very nicely put together car. keep up the good work.
That's not a CVCC (Honda dropped the CVCC as a moniker in 1979), but I would love to have a 4 door second gen. Always wanted one. Cool as hell car, NR.
Thank you, man. You probably saw it on Sunday. I was on my way home from the meet that this picture was taken at. Later, QD.
lowercar looks good
(((((No more 4 door))))))
I really don't understand why I think that car looks so good.. it is so far from my style its not even funny.. but damn does it look good.. haha
Maybe another inch and Stance would be PERFECT! Great picture, Andy. Of course as always the car looks great, Qd.
"Damn, Its Tyler"RaceReadyDevelopments
The age, condition, restoration, and rarity of this car make this a very cool project. Taken by itself, the car doesn't do that much for me but I'm not much of a honda fan in general. Also, great work on the picture. Reps to both of you (as if you need them).
Ron
cvcc is lookin real good man!
" I think your ass just hit Vtec" -Drummerboy
I just realized I gotta pic of this car at nopi last year.
its come a long ways qd great work!
Not sure if I'm going to go lower right now. If I go any lower, the car will start to head into bouncy zone and I don't want that from this car. I might, MIGHT up the tire size one notch instead. But no guarantees on that.
Thanks. That's an awesome compliment. I do appreciate it. Nice to have people that wouldn't normally like a car pay a compliment to it.
I've had a 2nd gen hatch and a 2nd gen wagon. Love those cars, man.
Hate that word, "Stance." Lolol. Compliment is appreciated for sure, man.
I'm no Honda fan, myself, dude. This, of course, is an honest exception. Thanks, man.
Thank you, two. I appreciate the words. Later, QD.
You already know what I think of your car, and that's a great picture of it.
Also, going up one tire size... Meh. If you need new tires, why not. But I think it's great the way it sits.
Your CVCC is so clean and awesome. Can we get a before pic to see where you started from?
:boobies:
I dig it. Hard.
CD5 Accord
Wow it looks damn near perfect man.
Ahh, very sexy. Gotta respect the classics![]()
BUILT NOT BOUGHT .........
QD, I've never been a fan of older cars, but yours is truly an exception. Very nice job , restoration wise. I'm curious, but any pictures of the interior?
Thank you for real, homey. Not a lot of good, detailed pics because it isn't so presentable right now, but below is what I do have. This is the next step in finishing the car. Should be done by the end of the year.
I've swapped the dash for a very good condition one (wood grain not peeling/torn), added the Grant GT wood wheel and a Personal original Honda wood shift knob. My car didn't come with the deluxe gauges so I added them in as well. Later, QD.

Was this car ever primer? Say around 09?
Twisted Loop Racing
Now that is one clean ass car!
It's not the speed that kill's its the sudden stop at the end.
that's a very flattering picture, makes the car look fantastic.......
even hides that bend on the bumper...... BUT I KNOW ITS THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Warning to all of IA.... if your car has a dent or body flaw.... i WILL see it.
I remember meeting you, by your screen name if you can believe that, but I don't remember where.
I appreciate it, sir.
Haha. There are several dings and such on the car. When I started out, I never stated that I was doing a "frame-off" or perfect restoration. I was always just after presentable. The car had several rust issues that were addressed.
I appreciate the compliment, though, Sin. Later, QD.
