Spinks's Prelude
I finally got a DD after dailying my motorcycle for a couple weeks. I have been on craigslist non stop for at least a week. Seen everything coming and going and I finally got a car this morning for 1200.
It's a one owner car. Owned by an old lady near stone mountain. Stock everything. Clutch was replaced not too long ago because it was part of the service plan. So far I love the car it drives awesome.

B20A5 (or B5 I forget)

I already ordered coilovers for it.

If you can't see that number it is 267K! Still kickin'

It has working heat and A/C run and drives freaking awesome. It is the 4 wheels steer model as well. I'm thinking of painting it red but I'm not 100% sure yet. It will be coming along nicely.

Put this on the list

You'll all see why. I'll buy that when my brother pays me the 200 he owes me today.
Also I did something super gay to the prelude and it's coming off asap.

I know you see it. I ruined these tail lights. Not to worry, some lacquer thinner will have it off and I'll buff them back to life at work. I need to go to PAP and get a lot of stuff for this thing. If anyone wants to go just let me know and I will let you buy me lunch!

I wish I had taken a pic of this before. It was terrible! If you can see the back of the sunroof where it is brown and stuff, the whole headliner had spots like that all over it. I still need to get the sunroof obviously.

=)
One more thing, if you know somebody with a motorcycle trailer let me know.
Update March 16th 2011
- Upgrades since I last updated include:
- Pioneer AVH-3200BT Touch Screen Head Unit (This thing is baller)
The crappier version of this head unit retails at Walmart for $350.00 but I got this one that retails at Best Buy for $450.00 on Cowboom.com for $230.00! - Coil Sleeves (Terrible Idea, I will elaborate)
Ok. I am never ever going to purchase these ever again. My car is currently sitting on them right now because I haven't had time or help to get the stock stuff back on. It's a two man job getting the brake positioned back down (standing on the brake rotor while I put the springs back in). So the shocks that are on my car are not stock. That's why it's so high up. It has shocks that go to a different car and happen to fit on mine. So I put the springs on and lower the car onto them and the car rests on the shocks more than it rests on the springs. The result of that is a bouncy ride. So I am not driving it as much as possible but that's hard to do since my bike just broke down (waiting on the part to arrive, check it out here ---->Bike Thread)
So I will be back on my 4x4 springs ASAP and if you have the time to come by and help me for a few hours let me know and I'll buy you lunch =) - HID Headlights Installed
They function great but I'm pretty sure I'm blinding everyone on the other side of the road. I know this because people always flashing high beams at me. I can flip to my high beam though and have a normal halogen headlight which is something I like a lot. I can drive with those and my fogs just fine. - HID Fog Lights Installed
Read below.
This took place a few weeks ago.

You're looking at a head unit being installed by my brother. Earlier that day I spent a good 4-5 hours installing the HID fog lights. Routing wires, soldering, fabbing my wires to work on an OEM switch etc. Also I pull the bumper to install the Fog's and come to find out they need a bracket. On top of that, the fog light bracket for my car is probably the hardest part you can possibly find. I drilled some holes inside the bumper and used self tappers to do some of the work and reinforced with zip straps. The right one is perfect and the left one gave me so much issue I just got it in there firmly and put the bumper back on. Hopefully I will get the patience to fix it soon.

Update, April 8th, 2011
Yesterday I woke up in the mood to work on my car, which doesn't happen to be honest. So I took the opportunity to fix my bouncy ride quality. I added the adjustable coils to my springs and raised it about an inch in the front and about the same in the back. I might lower it a tad in the front. It is riding awesome now! I was bored yesterday and decided I didn't like half corroded chrome wheels so I broke out the black paint.

Not bad, and better than before imo. Not many people have a blacked out car nowaday. I never got a chance to go buy some fabric but when I do I'm getting some black suede. I'll start doing pieces at a time in the interior. I should have some updates soon, but honestly who knows.
