I think people are going to start saying that about polished in 2 or 3 years. Black with polished lip was all the rage a little ways back. Then you started seeing all of these beat up cars doing it (often doing it poorly) and it cheapens the whole look. I'm already starting to see that with polished wheels in the budget "fitment" crowd. I definitely get what you're saying but I've always liked wheels to be one color, with some exceptions. When I first started driving EVERYONE was throwing black w/polished lip rims on their cars and I always hated it.
