    Default This one is for Rutroe

    After bugging rutledge to let me clean his truck he finally relented and let me do the job. The truck is impressive, as bringing it back to my house it felt like you could have a plume of tire smoke in a matter of seconds.

    This is how the truck came to me:





    So after foaming the vehicle with a mixture 2 oz meguiars hyper wash and 30 oz of water, I got to rubbing the surface down. I followed that up with my meguiars g110v2 with a tangerine lake country pad and meguiars 205 polish. I followed that up with Autoglym HD wax. Wheels & tires were cleaned with Eagle 1 A2z and the arches were cleaned with a mixture of dawn, surf city grime remover, and meguiars apc and water.

    Executive decision was to not put any tire shine on.

    Im going to let rutledge chime in and let us know what else is done to it, besides some of the trd stuff. But this truck is huge size wise, i had to call in a taller person because i sadly couldnt reach the center of the roof even with my scaffold step stool.

    regardless of what was done to it, the after shots are stellar. i like the truck too.

    One of the producers loved it so much she bought it after we pulled all the guns off, drove it for the summer, then sold it and bought a newer Del Sol. Ha.

    Right on man! Still got the Datsun...love that thing. It got custom discs up front, so if it wasn't here it was at Garage Zero. I have a new slave cylinder in the mail arriving tomorrow so then it will be mobile again. New Whitewalls and then it looks like it's going up for sale. I think we're going to buy an old Airstream so my fam can travel with me to some of the NASCAR races when I'm not shooting TG. Should be fun, but damn I love that little truck.

    The white walls look great on it. I guess its just another toy sitting around. I'm sure a nice Airstream behind the Tundra will look awesome. A neighbor of mine has a newer one, pretty cool.
