Don't look at the leaf! I had to pull that bloody thing off it wouldn't just fly off.

Alex- I've been around. Just working, saving etc

The front lip I made. Similar to oem lip just a total of 3' vs oem 1 inch

    Thanks guys!

I'm going to keep the oem tips but free up the exhaust a bit ( headers, test pipe etc). For the next year or two it will be a daily.

I was wondering what lip it was as well. I thought it might have been an ebay company that was trying to duplicate the Max Velocity GTR and came up a lil short of perfection on the sides as the MV GTR flares out on the sides a lil bit more than yours. But you made it yourself, huh? Not too shabby.

Did you use the stock lip and just extend it with fiberglass, or is it completely from scratch?

Definitely do a track/test pipe as the stock OBD I mid-pipe chokes down to about 13/8" where the dual exhaust pipes merge into single just before the catalytic converts. I don't know how well versed you are with E36's so I'm not sure if you already know about removing the OBD I mid-pipe and replacing it with the OBD II mid-pipe. The OBD II mid-pipe is pretty cheap, easy to locate, much better flowing, retains the same mounting points, and, where required, still has cats. If you don't need the cats you can always hollow them out and the mid-pipe will flow even better

    Its slow... I promise

I used the existing chin spoiler for mounting & fitment purposes. This will be what I use to make a mold from. It's actually one piece lip - diffuser. The pocess was foam + bondo + carbon. I used carbon because I had About 3 yards left over from another project so it was technically free.

I haven't done much research or put much though into the exhaust area yet as it will be a slow work in progress.

    Thanks!

Leave it the hell alone!! BMW's are sick out of the box. You could put some coil overs on it to set it down a touch but thats all.

Thanks guys, the car is already on coilovers, I like the height. Ground Control Track/School Coilovers. The wheels in the garage are 18x8 CSL replicas. The last shot was taken before I put the lip on. The ones with the lip are in my driveway.
