Clone my ass. It is a real R homie.

And 600 HP is just a number. I am sure it is still very usable and functional. Probably has boost my gear and all the little doodads.

Yeah, like 300-350 in all gears except first unless it hops on a dyno or gets in a burnout contest.

It is possible to set a car up to use that power. It won't hook on the street, but the track is a different story.

Slicks + Omni coilovers + traction bars + 0 camber + boost by gear

I know that you can make it hook with huge slicks and suspension mods, but then you wouldn't be able to drive on the streets with that setup. Either he has a track car that hooks or a street car that spins. Since he has a full interior and a pretty car, I assumed the latter. As I looked through the thread on HT, I saw he was out at a track event, so I am happy that he isn't just using the car for bragging rights.

not saying it isnt a real type r, but all you'd have to do is delete the sunroof, get the 5 lug, everything else is optional...fairly cheap to do.

yeah ALL you have to do is magically erase the big hole in the roof, spend 1500-2000 on a full 5 lug conversion, magically erase the side moldings, completely swap out the suspension, yeah its cheap.

What I don't understand is how society has gotten to the point of determining that if someone doesn't like something, it's only because they really want that something. In going with this (most definite) theory, then if I don't like your Del Sol, that really means I want it...but I can't afford it so I'll "hate" it? Later, QD.
